Cookware for better health

Being mindful of the environmental toxic load on our bodies, I have been trying to assess cookware and what may be safer forms to use.  Cookware that may have a negative impact on health include those made with Teflon, aluminum, and copper.  Cookware that may have less of an impact on health include stainless steel, glass, and cast iron (as long as you do not have issues with high iron levels).  There is still a lot of conflicting information out there, so the research continues!
