Barbara Fredrickson, Ph.D, in her book LOVE 2.0, mentions an exercise that helps us to increase satisfaction with our social interactions:
At the end of the day think of the 3 longest interactions you have had and ask yourself-
How in-tuned did I feel with that person?
How close did I feel with this person?
