Your Mattress

It is amazing to think that for many of us including myself, my mattress was an afterthought. It is something that we sleep on on average 6-8 hours a night, but it was not a priority of mine to make sure it was of the quality that I needed for optimal health. Unfortunately it was always on the back burner. It wasn't until we were thinking of finishing our basement, and received an impractical estimate, that I began to rethink my priorities. If we were going to spend that kind of money, why not spend it on something I would be utilizing 6-8 hours a day than on something I may at most enjoy a couple hours a night. Just as with healthcare, take the time to shop around and find the right mattress for you. There is no one size fits all. After we found the perfect one for us, I am amazed at how much I have noticed the benefits to my health: less aches and pains, restless nights, more energy. If only I came to this realization sooner!
